About Pawwoven
A small, calmly-written library of home-comfort measures.
Pawwoven is a single-symptom, plainly written reference for the small everyday things that come up with dogs and cats — itch, GI upset, seasonal sniffles, the quiet behavioral shifts you notice at 9 p.m. This page is a brief note on who writes it, where the remedies come from, and what to do when something actually needs a vet.
Our editorial approach
Three shelves. Plain language. Nothing a clinic would write.
What we cover.Common everyday dog and cat symptoms — itch, GI upset, seasonal sniffles, the small behavioral shifts you notice at 9 p.m. Each brief is a single symptom, keyed to the language a pet parent would actually type when they sit down to look something up.
Who writes and curates.A small editorial team with experience in canine and feline welfare writing. Every brief is reviewed before publication; the voice is the same across the catalog on purpose — short, second-person, never prescriptive.
How remedies are sourced & kept gentle, home-only. We draw from published veterinary-tech references, peer-reviewed nutrition notes, and conventional welfare-curation sources. Each pick is filtered for at-home, gentle, owner-administered measures — no prescription protocols, no compounded preparations, nothing that requires a clinical setting. Where an item is mentioned as something a pet parent might try, we slow-titrate and single-brand on purpose.
Why this exists as a calmer alternative. Most vet-clinic and prescription-resource sites are built around a clinical workflow. Pawwoven skips that layer — no intake forms, no office calls, no upsell to medication. Three shelves per brief (comfort, gentle supplements, small diet tweaks) and a quiet reminder to call your vet when something is sudden or won’t resolve.
An important note
Not a substitute for veterinary advice.
Everything on Pawwoven is general welfare, not a diagnosis. The same notice sits at the foot of every symptom brief we publish. Here it is, in full:
You’ll find this notice repeated at the bottom of every brief we publish — it isn’t About-page boilerplate, it’s the standing rule the whole catalog is written under.
